Blog + Success March 4, 2007

It’s been a great run thus far. The blog has appeared on various “Top Posts” or “Top Growing Blogs on WordPress” (#29 yesterday) and we’ve even been interviewed by the huge Canadian radiostation CBC (owned by the Government of Canada).

I also appreciate all the people who actually come out and comment, I love reading the feedback and comments and I would like to encourage everyone to do so. So far our record is 701 unique visits in a day (two visits by someone counts as one visit, 100 visits by someone counts as 1, per day and my visits do not count).

Overall I’d like to thank everyone, and I encourage you all to comment!

For my Pingu… January 28, 2007

Pingu didn’t have a great day today, and I’m in part to blame. She’s also extremely exhausted from last night’s party. I just want her to be happy and smiling! So what gets Pingu cheered up (besides me) that is: Oldies, Kishor Kumar, Shah Rukh… hmm, I spent a lot of time looking/thinking of what would make her feel better, I think this will work! Atleast I hope!!

Mmmm… Versace! January 6, 2007

Hmm, after reading reviews and sniffing perfumes, I decided to get Pingu the new Versace perfume. I went to the guy I know in Brampton but he didn’t have it! Then I went to the Shoppers near me, they didn’t have it! Then I went to the other Shoppers in the mall, they didn’t have it! Then I went to The Bay and it was sold out! OMGOMGOMG!!! Finally, I went after school yesterday and found it in the Bay near my school! Today Pingu and I are meeting  up and going to Chapters~ such nerds! Well Pingu is. I hope she likes it, its pink and it smells so good.

School… already?! January 3, 2007

Hmmm Pingu already started school… and I start tomorrow. The holidays went by so fast! Poor Pingu feels lonely @ school. Wish I could go there and cheer her up! She’s sleeping right now and I’m to wake her up in an hour, she had an early class after she slept so late!

Pingu Goes Back…. :( January 3, 2007

Pingu has gone back to Kitchener for school and Furby is sad because he is going to miss her and just knowing that she is in Kitchener, he is going to miss her more. We didn’t get to spend time like I had wished for but whenever we were together, it was the best, thanks Pingu, love you and miss you <3

Pingu JUST dropped by to give me a Christmas card, so it was a heavier-than-usual envelope and also bigger-than-usual. So I SLOWLY opened it up, trying my best not to tear any part of it, after all, it’s from Pingu. I open it and see a GREEN card (yes, my favourite colour) and then take it out and it reads “I’m giving you a hug for Christmas!” hehe so cute, I open it and it’s one of those popup cards (remember those popout books we loved as kids?) and I’m getting a hug!! OMG so cute, and then theres a folded letter, I take it out and underneath it, it says “You can exchange it for a bigger size if you wan to,” and so I melt some more. (Btw Pingu, I don’twant to EXCHANGE it since I just love the card, but if you can ADD it on for free, it would be much appreciated! Lol). The card is sooooooooo adorable, okay not as much as Pingu but still, the best card I’VE EVER SEEN. Thanks so much Pinku

So I read Pingu’s letter, and of course in Pingu’s signature writing style, starts off poetically I know we had up’s and down this year Pingu, but I hope we can always remember the Up’s and learn from the Down’s. This New Year will definately be filled with moments we can treasure, like you said I am very glad that you liked my card, and please don’t say thanks! To me, you’re still the bestest (K). Thanks for the wonderful letter Pingu, she even left a nice kiss at the bottom, I had to peck it too! Thanks Pingu, love you.

And then, I see that theres a mini-envelope in the bigger envelope which held the card and I’m a little confused, and when I open it I see a gift-card from Lenscrafters, ooooooooooooooooooooh you cheaterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I’m gonna beat you up, $200??????????????? Why so much??~!? What can I say, Pingu is always pampering me each time she gets an opportunity to give a gift, sigh you watch, I’m gonna… okay I’m lost for words, I love you Pingu, thanks so much. SO SNEAKY too!!! Yesterday, I found out she had visited an optical store and she simply said “I went to get my eyes checked,” and I just believed it, after all, I thought, how can she possibly buy something without knowing my perscription? CHEATERRRRRRRRR , come here (K)

Yesterday Pingu and I went out to get a satellite receiver and shopping! Was sooo much fun JUST because I was with her Then we watched Happy Feet, a penguin movie, I could see the strong ties Pingu had with her fellow ancestors? LOL JK Best day since holidays started so far, Love you Pingu <3
